Domingo to be back better than ever, minus one malignant polyp

Last month we reported that Placido Domingo was scheduled to undergo surgery after experiencing abdominal discomfort.  Today, Nancy Seltzer, a spokeswoman for Domingo advised that he was released from Mount Sinai Hospital in New York on Sunday night following the surgery where a malignant polyp was removed from his colon.  Domingo is expected to make a full recovery.  Apparently, my midnight vigils worked!
