Question of the Week
by Melissa Wimbish
I admit that this Question of the Week may not be very informative or thought-provoking, but I had to find a way to bring this information to light! Here is a direct quote from a post I came across regarding voice competitions:
“A singing competition can be your pass to be the large star or can be only the approach to have the little fun. Ask yourself either we wish to win it or not. Well if we wish to win it afterwards review forward.”

Represents my disbelief...
Question: Why?
LOL!!!!!!!!!!! is the only exclamation that does my current awe justice. When I first browsed this blog I couldn’t imagine how the author had actually convinced a company to publish anything on his or her behalf. Then I realized that this was not an excerpt from a book, but a blog dedicated to reviewing the book The Inner Game of Music by the best-selling co-author of Inner Tennis. Someone please tell me why.
In the meantime, I’ve listed some of my personal favorite excerpts from the post:
“Do not fall prey to the notion of selecting the low key tracks.”
“You need to develop that X factor.”
“Put in the little emotions Emotions should be an necessary partial of your singing.”
“There is no indicate in perplexing to unblemished an additional singers style, since which is not who we are.”
“Be as strange as possible. Being strange will take we places in a singing contest.”
