My favorite colleagues have always been the ones who are a good mix of being serious about their work and also being a lot of fun to be around. Nothing is worse than someone who goofs around for the entire rehearsal and doesn't know their music but the people who can't take a joke or laugh at anything are equally annoying to me.

How many sopranos does it take to screw in a light bulb? One to do it, another to hold her diet coke and mumble how much better she could do it. Or; One to stand on the ladder, and hold the light bulb while the world revolves around her.

How many altos does it take to screw in a light bulb? Nevermind, they can't reach that high.

In Mozart's Don Juan, how can you tell when the bass has replaced the statue? The "statue" starts to look a little stiff

Prior to Iphones (yes there was such a day) I was driving to a lesson and knew I was having trouble with one note in a piece. So i put my giant portable keyboard in the front seat and hit that note (while I was driving) every time I came to it. Good lord!

I love the app, ForScore. You can download free opera scores directly from IMSLP.org (which you can do without the app too) then you can mark up your digital score as much as needed. You can link into your Itunes music as well so you can listen and follow in your score all from the app. I've even used my ipad in a concert performance for Aida where I was singing the priestesses role in a darkened corner so my lit screen made the score visible!
I second the piano apps as well. I have a couple of them one with lifesize keys and one with two small keyboards stacked so I have most of the 88 keys all on one screen.
As for my teaching studio, I like to use youtube for easy access to recordings of any new arias I am recommending to my students.

Also, the Scanner Pro app which lets you scan in music and save as PDF. It's pretty awesome.

Don't forget the piano app for practicing in rooms without a piano. That's my favorite!!

Also, I love making PDFs of all of my music and putting them into my Books app. No more bulky music folder!!! I can carry 300 opera scores in my book bag and not be weighed down!

I only recently discovered this site, and am finding more and more reasons to ADORE it every day.

I'm already coming up with stuff for this contest, but I can't wait to see what other people will make!
