I am extremely happy about the resurgence of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Love Never Dies, sequel to the wildly successful Phantom of the Opera. It appears that viewing audiences are now ready to give ’Love’ a real, deserving chance according to critic Charles Spencer of The Telegraph: “….critics were invited back this week to see a re-jigged version, with some new lyrics by Charles Hart and fresh directorial input from the impresario Bill Kenwright.

The changes clarify the narrative, and, instead of a slow-burn opening burdened with great chunks of back-story, the piece now starts with the Phantom, the chap we have after all come to see”…. Get more on this love story renewed from Spencer at: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/8220295/Love-Never-Dies-Adelphi-Theatre-review.html
