Opera Gives Me the Willies!

by Melissa Wimbish

Boo! Yeah, we’re not above celebrating Hallmark Holidays. Halloween is here and it’s about time for some mischief, trickery, haunted houses, campfires and many many Operagasm treats.

This month, we have a howlingly brilliant lineup of writers including some old favorites and new faces. Gorgeous-brained bass Bryce Smith always brings something awesome to the table of opera fellowship; be on the lookout! Operagasm favorite Bridgette Cooper, John Bowen of Opera Vivente, the lovely Carol Perry, and bass-baritone Matthew Scrivner are always a delight to have on the roster and each offer a totally unique perspective. As promised, we’ll be getting those fresh reviews on the soon-to-be released Guru and Anna Nicole from Danielle Buonaiuto and Wade Davis. This is all in addition to the news, interviews, reviews and other fun tidbits we put in your candy bag every day!

Have a fun month before it gets so cold that you don’t want to leave the house! And remember, Halloween is kind of like a birthday in that it can last all month long if needed.
