Opera To Go On Despite Israeli Boycott

IsraelMany big name acts have canceled recent engagements in Israel as a result of an international boycott.  This has been a global reaction to the Israeli attack on a humanitarian aid shipment to the Gaza Strip in May.  Matt Beynon Rees takes a deeper look at cancellations which include The Pixies and Elvis Costello, and the shows that will go on such as the Israeli Opera’s production of Nabucco and an upcoming performance by Jessye Norman.
