O’s Book Club!

by Melissa Wimbish

If you want to be an informed patron this week before attending the world-premiere production of Paul’s Case by Gregory Spears, be sure to do your reading first! The short story by Willa Cather was first published in McClure’s Magazine in 1905, but rings so true to our world in 2013. One reviewer even compared the character of Paul to Pinocchio…minus the happy ending of course.

You can read the full text here courtesy of the Willa Cather Archive.

Tickets are still available for this weekend’s run of Paul’s Case at Artisphere presented by Urban Arias and American Opera Projects. Visit this link for showtimes and to purchase tickets!
