Quote of the Week

“Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark, in the hopeless swamps of the approximate, the not-quite, the not-yet, the not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish, in lonely frustration for the life you deserved, but have never been able to reach. Check your road and the nature of your battle. The world you desire can be won. It exists. It is real. It is possible.  It is yours. “

     – Ayn Rand

  1. While I appreciate the sentiment, could you have chosen a more hypocritical zealot as the messenger?

  2. I really wish I could attribute it to someone else! But in all honesty, I find this quote to be very powerful, despite the source.

  3. “Ambition has its disappointments to sour us, but never the good fortune to satisfy us. Its appetite grows keener by indulgence and all we can gratify it with at present serves but the more to inflame its insatiable desires.”
    -Benjamin Franklin
