Website of the Week!

by Erica Papillion-Posey

April12HouseofOperaCalling all opera aficionados!!!!!!!!!!!! Looking for that old, obscure, rare recording? Well, this might be the place to do it. Tread lightly and without expectation though……

House of Opera sells only opera recordings. These recordings are of non-professional quality that are in the public domain. The quality of these old opera recordings is not very good and they are meant for collectors and educational purposes only. Most of them are 30 or 40 years old, so they might be blurry, colors faded, and not sound very good, but they might not be available elsewhere.

  1. Be Careful!!! 90% of their stuff is unwatchable, unlistenable–despite the price.
